HOW DO I KNOW IF MY DPF IS BLOCKED?

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms above, then its highly likely that your DPF is blocked.

When the DPF is blocked, options such as forced regeneration or using chemical additives will only remove the soot, not the ash. This will only be a short-term solution and a potential waste of time and your money.

STAGE 1

​

A DPF “Back Pressure” test is carried out to test blockage levels and endoscope inspection to determine and confirm blockages and any damage.

​

STAGE 2

​

The DPF is then soaked in an environmental friendly pre-soak for better clarity, although both are permissible.

​

​

STAGE 3

​

The cleaning process is performed using our state of the art DPF cleaning machine to remove the soot and ash deposits from the filter, using high pressure water and compressed air at  around 4/5 bar, which is accelerated by using a “Back Flush” process to force the deposits of soot and ash in the opposite direction of the normal exhaust gas flow. A drying process is given to force out any remaining water.

STAGE 4

A further “Back Pressure” test is carried out to confirm flow and success and re-inspected with an endoscope to give clear indication of results.

​

We give our customers the opportunity to have a DPF Protection fluid added to the DPF to coat and protect the filter. Our latest state-of-the-art specialist cleaning machine, safely and legally removes virtually ALL the soot and ash, restoring your DPF to work as good-as-new.
